Patrick A. Holt, M.D., Ph.D.

Hand and Wrist, Elbow

Dr. Holt specializes in Hand, Wrist and Elbow nerve decompression surgery, trauma, and complex reconstruction. He is one of only a few fellowship-trained hand surgeons on the Lower Eastern Shore and sees patients in Salisbury, Berlin and Seaford. Having grown up in Annapolis, Maryland, he is thrilled to serve the local Maryland, Virginia and Delaware communities. His primary practice goal is to help restore patient form and function using the latest advances in Hand and Microvascular Surgery.

Dr. Holt completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at Duke University and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Utah. He attended medical school at the University of Louisville where he obtained dual MD-PhD degrees specializing in Medicine as well as Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Holt received an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and a MS graduate degree in Biotechnology specializing in Bioinformatics from The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Holt is an active member in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), American Association for Hand Surgery (AAHS) and the Maryland Orthopaedic Association (MOA).
