Ana Mata-Fink, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Ana Mata-Fink joined Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates in March 2020. She completed her Bachelors of Science Degree at Yale University and her Medical Doctorate at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mata-Fink also received a Master's in Health Care Leadership from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice. She selected the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center to complete her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery and completed a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow at Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Mata-Fink has contributed to several publications, including her most recent addition featured in the Journal of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2018, titled, "Predictors of length of stay and discharge deposition after shoulder arthroplasty," as well as "Revision strategies in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty," featured in the Journal in Shoulder & Elbow Arthroplasty in 2017. Dr. Mata-Fink also cared for athletes from Bryant University during her time working in Rhode Island. We are honored to bring such an accomplished surgeon and brilliant individual to the Eastern Shore to treat all your shoulder and elbow orthopaedic needs.

Dr. Mata-Fink relocated from Rhode Island and currently resides in Salisbury, MD. When Dr. Mata-Fink is not in the office or operating room, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, and reading.
